Hey, I'm Barbara, a professional caver with a passion for exploring the underground world. With a state caving diploma and a federal initiator's certificate, I lead outings for all levels, from discovering the underground world to extreme technical explorations. I'm actively involved in a number of caving and rescue associations, and work for the recognition and professionalization of caving as co-president of the national caving and canyoning guide union. I love to pass on my passion and knowledge as a scientific mediator of the karst environment (underground world) and would be delighted to accompany you underground to experience an authentic, immersive adventure that respects the natural environment.
Description of your future experience
Discover an enchanting place, nestled in the heart of the forest. After a 30-minute approach walk along a stream, we reach the entrance to a spring hiding a veritable underground jewel, accessible via an artificial entrance discreetly located near the natural entrance.
The adventure continues with two abseiling descents of 10 and 8 metres, alternating with climbing passages and an aerial passage through immense underground volumes. The route leads to the spectacular Salle du Mont-Blanc, the highlight of this exploration, as well as the crossing of the Egyptian meander.
This experience lasts around 4 hours and is accessible to people aged 12 and over. Bring comfortable sportswear, hiking boots, a complete change of clothes and a small water bottle. I supply all the equipment required for the activity: helmet with light, wetsuit and harness.
