Tracking the King of the Forests - Listening to the Roe of the Deer

Hello everyone! My name is Elias, I'm a wildlife photographer and expedition guide in the Arctic.

As I'm passionate about nature, the outdoors and sports, I mainly focus on these three areas (or even all three at the same time).

If you want to learn how to see wildlife, get off the beaten track and spend time without seeing it go by, you're welcome!

Put yourself in the boots of a wildlife photographer and experience one of the most intense periods of the year: the stag's bellow.

Between tracking, stalking and listening, meet the King of the Forests in his natural environment, right in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest.

At dawn or dusk, you'll be guided step by step to understand the clues left by the fauna, before settling down in silence in the woods, listening to the bellowing and echoes of the forest. Animal sightings are never guaranteed, they have to be earned, but the thrill is always there.

The activity lasts half a day:

- Morning outing: approx. 6 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

- Evening outing: approx. 4pm to 9:30pm

Groups are limited to 4 people to ensure discretion and respect for wildlife. A small snack is provided, and all the equipment needed for the stalk (camouflage net, cover, seat) is supplied.

To participate :

- Dress darkly and quietly for the forest (long clothing recommended to avoid ticks).

- No perfumes, deodorants or scented products should be worn.

- The exact meeting place will be communicated after reservation, depending on the date chosen.

Are you a photographer? You can bring your own equipment. Professional equipment will also be available if you'd like to try your hand at wildlife photography, with personalized advice in the field.

The experience is based on a respectful and ethical approach to nature:

no intrusive approach, no disturbance, no extra pressure on the animals. The aim is to observe, listen and understand, not to impose our presence.

Sessions run until mid-November, depending on conditions and the end of the slab.

Each outing is a total immersion, a suspended moment where we learn to see without disturbing, to listen without interrupting.
