Hi everyone, this is Vera, Ms. Mushroom 🍄 I love going out into the forest to look for mushrooms—whether they’re edible or not, pretty or weird… the world of mushrooms is full of surprises, and I can’t wait to share it with you!! I’m a simple, cheerful person. I studied ecology and mycology (the science of mushrooms), and for several years now I’ve been leading nature walks to share my knowledge with the general public. I live between Rennes and the Brocéliande Forest; I head out into the woods several times a week to enjoy the peace and quiet and explore nature. I love looking for those tiny little mushrooms that no one ever notices 🧐—they’re so pretty!! Shall we meet in the forest, basket and magnifying glass in hand? 😁

Description of your future experience

We’ll head into the forest in search of edible mushrooms! I’ll join you to show you the differences between edible and poisonous mushrooms, share my tips and tricks for finding the best ones, and also share my enthusiasm for the incredible diversity of mushrooms all around us!! I’ll teach you the right techniques for harvesting in an environmentally friendly way and share my tips for a bountiful harvest 😁
