Cyanotype Discovery Workshop Under the Teepee

Welcome to my creative world, in the heart of the Pyrenees!

I’m Camille, an artisan and decorative artist. I create one-of-a-kind decorations using the magic of cyanotype, an ancient photographic process that reveals beautiful shades of blue when exposed to sunlight.

During my workshops held under a teepee, I invite you to slow down, observe the nature around us, and create your own artwork. Leaves, flowers, feathers… here, everyone experiments, composes, and leaves with a one-of-a-kind creation, made with their own hands.

Whether you’re creative at heart or think you “can’t draw,” no experience is necessary. I’ll guide you step by step to help you discover this technique, which is as surprising as it is magical.

How does the workshop work?

As soon as you arrive, I’ll welcome you into my little creative world, under the teepee, in the heart of the Pyrenees. I’ll take the time to introduce you to cyanotype and explain how this ancient photographic technique uses sunlight to create beautiful blue images.

Then, it’s time to get creative! 🌿

You’ll choose from the plants, flowers, and natural elements provided—or perhaps from what we spot around us. I’ll then guide you step by step as you compose your creation on the light-sensitive paper.

Then comes the slightly magical moment: we’ll expose our creations to sunlight ☀️. While the light does its work, you’ll learn about the different stages of the process and gradually witness the magic of cyanotype at work.

After rinsing, the blue gradually appears… and it’s always a little moment of surprise! 💙

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your unique creation(s)—made with your own hands—as well as a lovely, creative memento of your time in the Pyrenees.

And most importantly, you don’t need to be an artist or have any prior creative experience: I’m here to guide you, and the most important thing is simply to enjoy the process of creating!
