2. Explore Old Nice with a passionate local

Old Nice is perfect for a local tour: narrow streets, colourful facades, squares, markets, local specialities and neighbourhood stories. Having someone show you around brings real meaning to what you're seeing, going well beyond a simple stroll.

3. Head into the hinterland

Less than an hour from Nice, the Vésubie valley offers a complete change of scenery. Mountains, villages and access to the Mercantour give you a different view of the region, especially if you love driving, nature and wide open spaces.

4. Taste the local specialities

Socca, pissaladière, pan bagnat or market produce: food is one of the best ways into Nice's local identity. A guided experience lets you combine tasting, history and hidden gems.

5. Enjoy the sea from a different angle

A boat trip, a water activity or a sunset walk lets you discover Nice from the Mediterranean. It's also a great idea for a couple's weekend away.

6. Choose a creative or wellbeing activity

An art workshop, breathing session, yoga class or discovering a local craft are great alternatives to traditional sightseeing, especially if you want to slow down.

7. Meet someone who truly knows the area

It's often the connection with a person that turns an activity into a memory. On Meet People, the guide isn't just there to show you a place: they share their world, their passion and their own way of experiencing the area.
